Whispers Wine Bar was opened by Nigel & Kajsa Bolland June 1998. We offer a casual relaxed atmosphere and fine food, we also are pleased to offer an extensive wine list, draft and bottled beer.

Lunch is served Monday to Saturday 12-14:30. Sunday 12-15:30 Tues - Sat Evenings 18:30-21:00

Whispers Wine Bar & Brasserie is situated in the beautiful and quaint market town of Halstead. The brasserie itself is thought to be the oldest building in town; the architecture dates back to 1411, and, rather impressively, the beautiful roof from the original structure has been preserved all these years. It’s an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a sumptuous meal from an à la carte menu which showcases such divine dishes as prosciutto chicken, Scottish salmon and mushroom lasagne.

Take time to peruse the reasonably priced menu in the comfortable bar area, choosing from a selection of scrumptious weekly specials.
